Ban Bo Kaeo, Samoeng District, Chiang Mai Province is where Bokaew Estate Coffee has been growing for more than 40 years. The land was converted to fruit crops when coffee price was low, but has now returned to its former glory thanks to Khun Bew, who recognized the importance of a traditional coffee crop to the community. The estate buys coffee cherries from villagers at a fair market price to help villagers earn more income, creating a sustainable ecosystem for pushing the standard of coffee production in the area.
